Real. Raw. Unfiltered. Beauty.

Why I Applied
I entered the Maxim Covergirl 2026 Competition because this moment represents something I’ve been working toward for years — not the spotlight, but the healing. For most of my life, beauty was something I had to fight to believe in. Not because I wasn’t beautiful, but because the world around me didn’t know how to see beauty in girls like me.
I grew up hearing comments about my hair, my body, my face, my clothes, my worth. I walked through school hallways, workplaces, and even early modeling spaces feeling like I was always being measured against standards I never agreed to. I carried wounds from moments where I was overlooked, underestimated, or dismissed — not because of my talent, but because of how I looked.
People sometimes say, “You don’t need to enter a modeling competition to prove you’re beautiful.”
And they’re right.
I didn’t apply to prove anything to the people who hurt me.
I applied to honor the girl who didn’t feel seen.
I applied because I finally know I’m beautiful — and I want to stand for the women who were told they weren’t. I applied because real, raw, unfiltered beauty deserves to be represented in spaces that haven’t always made room for women like me. I applied because healing deserves a spotlight too.
This competition is not about perfection.
It’s about reclamation.

The Direction I’m Going As a Contestant
I’m not here to chase a traditional beauty standard.
I’m here to challenge it.
My platform is rooted in four pillars:
– Real beauty — the kind that doesn’t need filters or permission.
– Raw beauty — shaped by life, loss, growth, and resilience.
– Unfiltered beauty — the kind that shows up exactly as it is.
– Healing beauty — the kind that grows from wounds into wisdom.
I want to represent women who don’t always see themselves in beauty spaces:
Women with textured hair.
Women with curves.
Women with humble beginnings.
Women who have been teased, judged, or overlooked.
Women who are still learning to love themselves at every stage.
I’m stepping into this competition with softness, strength, and truth — not to fit a mold, but to expand what beauty looks like.

How I’m Healing From Past Wounds
Every wound I’ve carried — every comment, every rejection, every moment of feeling unseen — has shaped the woman I am today. But I’m no longer living from those wounds. I’m healing through them.
Healing, for me, looks like:
– Loving my body at every stage
– Showing up with my natural hair
– Wearing what feels good on my skin
– Speaking my truth without shrinking
– Reclaiming dreams I once had to walk away from
– Choosing myself, fully and unapologetically
This competition is part of that healing.
It’s a declaration that every version of me — past, present, and future — is worthy of love, visibility, and celebration.
I’m not here to prove beauty.
I’m here to reclaim it.
